HI! I’m Jani du Toit and I love making beautiful things!

I’m a Fashion Designer and a Pattern maker by day, ASICS Front runner, Wife, Mom, Mommy-Blogger, and now Owner of Little Monsters.

I have a beautiful little boy named Paul who is largely my inspiration for starting this company. I started making baby things for him while I was pregnant, and it filled my heart with so much joy, even more so to see him wearing it! I guess like most Mommies I’d like to be able to do a job that will make me happy, and give me the opportunity to spend as much time with my kids as possible. The past year I’ve also come to terms with the fact that life is to short to not do the things you love, before you know it, it could all be gone, so lets rather have some fun along the way.

Making beautiful things with beautiful colorful fabric is whats make me happy, and its what fills me with joy, so I hope that the products I create here will represent that!

I believe in good quality, affordable products, that are colourful and fun, not trendy per say. Things that can get dirty and that add character to you life, I believe in clothing and products for real kids.
